Contract Manufacturing Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop & Execute the Contract Manufacturing Strategy for Specialty Chemicals.
2. Build & Manage a Strong Network of Strategic Manufacturing Partners.
3. Identify, Evaluate & Onboard Contract / Toll / Custom Manufacturing Partners.
4. Lead Technical, Commercial, Quality, EHS & Financial due Diligence.
5. Drive Commercial Negotiations, Costing, Margins & long-term Manufacturing Agreements.
6. Lead Technology Transfer, Scale-up & Commercialisation of New Products.
7. Ensure Capacity Availability, Supply Continuity, On Time In Full Delivery & Cost Optimisation.
8. Drive Partner Performance on Quality, Yield, Productivity, EHS & Compliance.
9. Work Closely With R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, & Business Development Teams.
10. Develop Strategic Partnerships, Alliances & Potential Joint Ventures With Manufacturing Partners.
11. Support Global Customer Requirements, Audits & Technical Evaluations.
12. Build Contract Manufacturing into a Scalable, Profitable & Asset-light Growth Platform.

Candidate Profile

1. A Chemical / Mechanical Engineer with about 10-15 years of experience in Specialty Chemicals / Fine Chemicals / Performance Chemicals / Chemical Intermediates.
2. Strong Experience in Contract Manufacturing / Toll Manufacturing / Custom Manufacturing / External Manufacturing.
3. Strong Techno-Commercial understanding of Chemical Manufacturing.
4. Proven Experience in Partner Identification, Qualification & Management.
5. Strong Negotiation, Commercial & Stakeholder Management Skills.
6. Experience in Technology Transfer, Scale-Up & New Product Commercialisation.
7. Exposure to Global Customers / International Markets Preferred.
8. Strong Understanding of Quality, EHS & Regulatory Requirements.
9. Entrepreneurial Mindset with the Ability to Build & Scale a Business.
