The role combines a mix of Marlet Area wide strategic initiatives and direct support on an ad hoc basis for complex technology contract negotiations and management of agreements throughout their lifecycle for customer accounts across the Marlet Area. The key objective of the role is to create contractual outcomes which balance commercial ambition, customer relationships, risk, profitability, and Ericsson's business-critical terms and conditions.

This is a highly influential role for a confident, analytical professional who can challenge constructively, recommend practical solutions, and turn contract management into a source of innovation and continuous improvement.

    What you will do:

    • MA Strategic Initiatives
    • Lead or support contract managers on the ground through coaching, deal reviews, escalation support, and shared problem-solving.
    • Strengthen collaboration across Commercial teams and other stakeholders involved in the contract lifecycle.
    • Contribute to creation of practical training and knowledge-sharing sessions around relevant topics, including offer review, negotiation strategy, risk mitigation, CCB governance, claims, and contract closure.
    • Provide regular reporting on pre-sales improvements, post-award improvements, and contract handshakes completed across MOAI.
    • Use reporting to identify systemic risk, capability gaps, value leakage, and opportunities for repeatable intervention.
    • Standardise contract handshakes, risk reviews, offer reviews, negotiation records, and closure evaluations across MOAI. Develop long-term and deal-specific contract strategies aligned with account plans, commercial priorities, customer risk profiles, and Ericsson guidelines.

    • Deal Specific Support
    • Evaluate proposals and contractual documentation, identify deviations and risks, and provide clear recommendations for sales decision-making.
    • Lead contract drafting, negotiation, escalation, approvals, and finalization, including alignment with suppliers to secure appropriate back-to-back terms.
    • Ensure contracts and amendments are signed by authorized signatories, accurately recorded in Salesforce or its successor repository, and handed over through effective contract briefings.
    • Establish and govern contract risk management, change control, contract variations, claims, liquidated damages, service credits, and add-on sales.
    • Monitor contract performance and compliance across customers and suppliers, resolve disputes, protect margin and cash flow, and maintain customer satisfaction.
    • Drive contract closure, including resolution of claims and disputed items, confirmation of surviving obligations, evaluations, and lessons learned.

    The skills you bring:

    • At least 10 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years managing complex customer-facing technology agreements; telecommunications experience is advantageous.
    • Strong negotiation, commercial management, contract administration, risk governance, profitability analysis, and opportunity analysis capabilities.
    • Working knowledge of Ericsson's sales directive, BCTC, EBD/BPTC deviation approvals, contract management guidelines, and relevant requirements such as IFRS 15.
    • Excellent stakeholder leadership, critical thinking, communication, and decision-making skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and contract lifecycle management tools, including A.I. native software-based platforms.
