Contract Compliance Lead

Job Description:

As a Contract Compliance Lead, this role will establish and manage a structured system to track contractual obligations, deliverables, milestones, deadlines, renewals, and compliance requirements, ensuring all commitments are clearly assigned, proactively monitored, and fulfilled on time. The role will leverage AI tools and AI agents to automate contract analysis, obligation tracking, risk monitoring, follow-ups, and reporting, building a scalable and reliable framework that enhances operational efficiency, visibility, and control.

Role & responsibilities:

• Build and manage a structured contract compliance system in Ironclad to capture and track contractual obligations, deliverables, milestones, deadlines, renewals, responsible owners, and evidence of completion.
• Monitor contractual obligations end-to-end, proactively manage deadlines and follow-ups, and escalate overdue, missed, or high-risk commitments.
• Maintain regular communication with stakeholders and compliance owners to ensure clarity on responsibilities, progress, and upcoming deadlines.
• Collaborate proactively with compliance owners across functions to ensure all contractual commitments and compliance requirements are fulfilled within agreed timelines.
• Identify and implement opportunities to automate processes and tasks using AI tools, AI agents, and other relevant technologies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and visibility.
• Leverage Ironclad's capabilities to manage obligation tracking, automate workflows, and strengthen compliance monitoring and audit readiness.
• Maintain centralized records, dashboards, automated alerts, and audit trails in Ironclad to provide clear visibility into compliance status, upcoming deadlines, and potential risks.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to address compliance gaps, coordinate corrective actions, and continuously improve contract compliance processes.
• Develop and publish periodic reports and dashboards highlighting compliance status, upcoming obligations, overdue tasks, key risks, and areas requiring management attention.
• Proactively identify potential delays or risks to timely completion, communicate concerns to relevant stakeholders, and escalate issues requiring intervention.
• Support ad hoc tasks and other responsibilities as assigned from time to time.

Preferred candidate profile

• 4-7 years of hands-on experience in contract compliance or contractual obligation management.
• Strong practical knowledge of AI tools and AI agents for contract analysis, obligation tracking, compliance monitoring, and workflow automation.
• Proven experience implementing and managing a structured system for tracking contractual obligations, deadlines, renewals, and compliance requirements.
• Strong project or task management skills, including stakeholder coordination, deadline tracking, risk identification, and escalation management.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to improve compliance processes through AI-driven automation.
• Educational Qualification: Bachelors in business, Legal Studies, Management or a related field is preferred.

Work Shift - 1pm to 10pm IST time zone
