Continuous Improvement Manager

Job purpose:

To drive continuous improvement in product & process of all types of bearing by coordination with various cross function of R&D, Manufacturing & finance in PQCDSM (Productivity, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety & Morale)

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify & lead projects for closure of critical TGW.
• Drive continuous improvement projects with various cross function of R&D, Manufacturing & Supplier development
• Lead or participate in team for conducting root cause analysis of customer complaint and drive corrective & preventive action
• Work in close coordination with various teams of R&D, Procurement, Supplier Development & costing cell to drive optimization in product costing to meet expected price of customer

Skills Required:

• APQP, PPAP, QFD, PFMEA, TS:16949
• Product design, QFD, GD&T
• Manufacturing process of bearing or similar mechanical component
• Program Management & understanding of stage gate process
• ISO standards related to design
• Basic understanding of SPC & MSA

Educational Qualification and experience required:

B.Tech./M. Tech. with 10 to 15 years of experience
