About this role
We are looking for a skilled Content Writer to join our Content Writing team, responsible for producing clear, engaging, and well-researched written materials across a range of formats and platforms. Success in this role means consistently delivering high-quality content that resonates with target audiences, supports brand messaging, and drives meaningful engagement. Working on-site as part of a collaborative team, the Content Writer plays a central role in shaping the organisations voice and communicating its value to the world.
Responsibilities - Research, write, and edit original content including blog posts, articles, website copy, social media posts, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
- Develop content in alignment with the organisations brand voice, style guidelines, and editorial standards.
- Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to ensure accuracy, depth, and credibility in all written output.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and subject-matter experts to produce cohesive, on-brand content across multiple channels.
- Optimise content for search engines using SEO best practices, including keyword integration, metadata, and internal linking strategies.
- Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
- Review and proofread content from team members, providing constructive feedback to maintain consistent quality standards.
- Monitor content performance metrics and use insights to inform and improve future content strategies.
- Stay current with industry trends, content marketing developments, and emerging best practices.
- A bachelors degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or in a similar writing-focused role, supported by a portfolio of published work.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with a strong command of grammar, style, and tone.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt writing style to suit different audiences, platforms, and content formats.
- Working knowledge of SEO principles and content optimisation techniques.
- Proficiency with content management systems (such as WordPress or similar platforms)and basic familiarity with digital marketing tools.
- Strong research skills with the ability to translate complex or technical information into accessible, engaging content.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced, in-office environment.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing accurate, polished, and impactful written work.
