Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Content Writer at HackHalt Cyber Intelligence Council. The Content Writer intern will craft clear, engaging web content and articles that support cybersecurity awareness, education initiatives, and research-driven insights. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting research on cyber threats and industry trends, drafting and refining content for blogs, reports, social media, and educational materials, and aligning all written materials with the organization's mission and content strategy. The role also involves collaborating with program and research teams to translate complex technical concepts into accessible language, proofreading for accuracy and consistency, and ensuring content follows brand guidelines and ethical communication standards.
Qualifications

• Ability to produce high-quality written materials, with skills in Web Content Writing and general Writing.
• Capability to support and contribute to Content Strategy, aligning content with organizational goals and audience needs.
• Strong Research skills to gather, verify, and synthesize information on cybersecurity topics.
• Attention to detail in Proofreading to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to style guidelines.
• Strong command of English, with clear, concise, and structured communication.
• Interest in cybersecurity, digital safety, or technology-related fields; prior exposure or coursework is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
