Content Writer & Graphic Designer

About the role

We are hiring one person who can both write and design. You will own our brand voice and visual identity end to end, from a blog post or app copy to the social graphic and landing page that goes with it.

This is a hands-on role. You will plan, write, design and publish content yourself, working closely with product, marketing and leadership.

Key responsibilities

Content writing

• Write and edit website copy, landing pages, blog articles, emails and newsletters.• Create social media captions, ad copy and campaign scripts.• Proofread all content for accuracy, grammar and tone.

Graphic design

• Design social media posts, banners, ads, infographics and email templates.• Create visuals for the website, landing pages and app (illustrations, icons, hero images).• Design presentations, brochures, flyers and other marketing collateral.• Produce short motion graphics or simple video edits for social media.• Maintain and evolve brand guidelines: logo use, colours, typography, templates.• Prepare print-ready and web-optimised files in the correct formats.

Across both

• Plan and run a monthly content calendar.• Turn briefs and complex ideas into clear, engaging content and visuals.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in content writing and graphic design, ideally in a combined role.• A strong portfolio showing both written work and design work.• Excellent written English.• Hands-on skill with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, plus Figma and Canva.• Working knowledge of SEO and content tools (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush or Ahrefs).• Solid grasp of typography, layout, colour and visual hierarchy.• Experience creating content for social platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube).• Ability to take feedback well and work independently with minimal supervision.• Bachelors degree in Mass Communication, English, Journalism, Design, Fine Arts or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience writing content that stays accurate and compliant.• Motion design or video editing skills (After Effects, Premiere Pro, CapCut).• UI/UX design basics for app screens and web pages.• Familiarity with AI writing and design tools, used responsibly.
