About this role
This is a content strategy role as much as a writing role. There is no existing content calendar, no established tone of voice and no content library to inherit. You will build all three.
You will also act as the content and social lead in Phase 1. The Social Media Executive works to your calendar, and the Graphic Designer works to your briefs, you set the direction for the content and social pod.
Content Strategy
- Practical SEO content writing skills
- Exposure to SAP, ERP, IT services, ed-tech or logistics content
- Hindi and/or Gujarati in addition to English
Responsibilities
- Build and own a single group-wide content calendar covering four websites and all social channels
- Define content pillars, tone of voice and messaging hierarchy for each of the four brands, within one group identity
- Convert business priorities new services, training batches, market entries into planned content
- Run a weekly content review with the SEO Specialist, Graphic Designer and Social Media Executive
Must Have
- 3 6 years of content writing or content strategy experience in B2B, IT services, SaaS, ed-tech, or a marketing agency serving those sectors
- A portfolio of long-form work blogs, case studies, website copy. Mandatory. Share links or PDFs with your application
- Excellent written English with the ability to explain technical subjects simply and accurately
- Practical SEO content writing skills: search intent, content structure, keyword placement, internal linking, meta copy
- Demonstrated ability to research an unfamiliar technical subject and write about it credibly
- Hands-on experience with AI writing tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper, Copy.ai or similar) combined with strong editing judgement
- Ability to manage multiple brands, audiences and deadlines simultaneously
Nice to have
- Experience owning a social media calendar or briefing designers
- WordPress familiarity
- Experience writing for both Indian and international (UAE/GCC, US) audiences
