Content & Social Media Executive

ElestaBiz builds a website and online-store builder for Indian small businesses - shops, restaurants, studios and service providers - so they can get online without technical help. We are hiring a Content & Social Media Executive to write for our website, help pages and social channels, and to tell the stories of the businesses that build on ElestaBiz.

What you will do

• Write and schedule posts for our Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube channels, following an agreed monthly calendar.

• Write website copy, blog posts, help articles and email newsletters in clear, simple English.

• Write ad copy with our performance marketer, and brief our designers on the visuals.

• Reply to comments and messages on our social channels, and pass support questions to the support team.

• Track how each post performs and report every month on what worked.

• Publish only on the company's own accounts, and only content the company has approved.

About the role

• Fixed-term employment for 12 months, renewable by mutual agreement.

• Remote: you work from home, anywhere in Andhra Pradesh.

Requirements

• Strong written English: clear, simple and free of errors. Writing in Telugu is a plus.

• Experience running a social media page - for an employer, a client or yourself.

• Comfortable making simple graphics in Canva or a similar tool.

• Able to plan your own work and keep to a posting calendar.

• A reliable internet connection and a quiet place to work from home in Andhra Pradesh.
