Content Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and manage content writing and video editing teams to ensure quality and timely output.
• Develop content strategies, ideation plans, and production schedules aligned with channel objectives.
• Oversee the complete content workflow, from topic selection and research to script development, editing, and final delivery.
• Review scripts and videos to ensure accuracy, storytelling quality, audience engagement, and creative standards.
• Provide clear feedback and direction to writers and editors to maintain consistency and minimise revisions.
• Monitor team productivity, deadlines, content quality, and performance against defined KPIs.
• Exercise sound editorial judgment to select strong topics, evaluate content quality, and make effective creative decisions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve production bottlenecks and maintain a smooth workflow.
• Ensure daily content production targets and publishing schedules are met.
• Identify opportunities to improve content quality, team efficiency, and overall channel performance.

Preferred candidate profile

- 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in content management, digital media, or video content production.

- Proven experience directly managing both content writing and video editing teams.

- Strong understanding of scriptwriting, storytelling, video editing, and short-form content production.

- Experience reviewing creative output and providing actionable feedback to writers and editors.

- Ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and tight deadlines.

- Strong leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience tracking team performance, productivity, quality, and delivery timelines.

- Ability to make independent day-to-day content decisions while aligning with management's objectives.
