Role Summary

We are looking for an expressive, camera-confident Content Creator cum Writer with 1+ years of experience to join our media team. You will be the creative voice and face for VAMA in your native language (Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil, or Hindi). This dual role involves scripting engaging short-form video content, writing relatable copy, and appearing on camera to bring spiritual stories, festive rituals, and astrological insights to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Scriptwriting & Storytelling: Research and write engaging, culturally accurate scripts for short-form videos (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Moj, Josh) focused on astrology, temple traditions, festivals, and spiritual remedies.
• On-Camera Content Creation: Act as the primary creator and presenter, recording engaging videos, daily horoscopes, festive explainers, and interactive live streams.
• Content Adaptation & Localization: Translate core brand campaigns and spiritual concepts into high-converting, culturally nuanced regional scripts tailored to local audiences.
• Social Media Copywriting: Write compelling captions, hook-lines, video titles, and promotional text in your regional language to maximize user engagement.
• Trend & Ritual Monitoring: Track regional cultural events, festivals, regional astrological trends, and social media formats to quickly produce timely, relevant content.
• Performance Tracking: Collaborate with the growth marketing team to analyze video performance metrics (views, retention, shares) and continuously refine script hooks and delivery styles.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Language Expertise: Native fluency (speaking, writing, and reading) in at least ONE of the following: Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil, or Hindi.
• Experience: 1+ years of experience in scriptwriting, video content creation, digital journalism, or social media publishing.
• On-Camera Confidence: Natural presentation skills with clear diction, strong screen presence, and expressiveness on video.
• Cultural Alignment: Basic familiarity or a deep interest in Indian mythology, temple heritage, Hindu rituals, and astrology.
• Technical Basics: Basic hands-on skills with smartphone video shooting, lighting basics, and mobile video editing apps (CapCut, InShot) are a major plus.
• Portfolio Required: A portfolio, video reel, or links to personal/professional social media accounts showcasing your work on camera and script samples.
