Job Summary:

We are seeking a Creative Writer with a passion for education, student engagement, and impactful storytelling. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing compelling content for school programmes, student activities, and social media platforms. The content will cover diverse topics, including climate awareness, personality development, career counselling, club activities (Nature Club, MUN Club, Reading Club), student competitions (NSTSE, Spelling Bee, ASSET), and global immersion & student exchange programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop engaging and informative content for school programmes and activities targeting students from Grades 1-10.
• Write captivating social media posts, blogs, and newsletters to promote student participation in various initiatives.
• Create age-appropriate, interactive, and inspiring content for different student demographics.
• Collaborate with educators, programme coordinators, and marketing teams to ensure messaging aligns with educational goals.
• Research current trends in education, climate awareness, career development, and student competitions to enhance content relevance.
• Develop creative scripts, presentations, and reports for school events and online platforms.
• Proofread and edit content to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand tone.
• Engage with students, parents, and educators through meaningful storytelling that fosters student development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Education, or a related field.
• Proven experience in creative writing, content development, or educational writing.
• Strong storytelling and research skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
• Familiarity with education trends, student engagement strategies, and school programme structures.
• Proficiency in social media content writing (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
• Ability to adapt writing styles for different age groups and audiences.
• Experience in SEO-friendly writing is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in writing for schools, NGOs, or educational institutions.
• Bachelors degree in English, Creative Writing, Education, Journalism, or a related field.
• Excellent grammar, editing, and proofreading abilities.
• Experience working in an educational setting or familiarity with school curricula is a plus.
• Strong research skills and ability to integrate factual accuracy with creativity.
• Knowledge of student development programmes, climate education, and academic competitions.
• Familiarity with content creation tools (Canva, Adobe, etc.).
