CNS - Risk - Process & Controls:

EY Consulting is made up of three sub-service lines: Business Consulting (including Performance Improvement and Risk Consulting), Technology Consulting and People Advisory Services.

We help our clients in identifying and managing the interplay between upside and downside risk in order to make the long-term decisions to prevent risk and impact on their organizations ability to meet its future business strategy and objectives. The 3 key fields of play are :

Financial Services Risk - helps clients in the financial sector to identify, manage and monitor the risks in their business. It is done through a transformative and agile approach including process and procedures, risk, data modeling and analytics, reporting to stakeholders and third parties, business requirements (for software selection and IT implementation), analysis of assets and liabilities, and capital and liquidity management.

Your key responsibilities

Technical Excellence

• Risk & Compliance Transformation
  • Support the assessment, design, and implementation of risk, compliance, and governance frameworks.
  • Work with clients to improve monitoring, controls, reporting, and regulatory compliance processes.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for process optimization, automation, and control enhancement.
  • Support transformation initiatives related to risk management, compliance monitoring, operational risk, governance, and internal controls.

Business Analysis & Solution Delivery

• Gather business requirements through workshops, interviews, and stakeholder discussions.
• Develop business requirement documents, functional specifications, user stories, and process maps.
• Perform current-state and target-state assessments and identify transformation opportunities.
• Support end-to-end project delivery including requirements management, testing, deployment, and change management.

Technology & Digital Transformation

• Collaborate with technology teams to implement workflow, governance, compliance, and risk management solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend technology-enabled solutions to address business and regulatory challenges.
• Support implementation of GRC, risk management, compliance monitoring, workflow, and reporting platforms.
• Leverage data analytics and dashboarding to improve decision-making and governance reporting.

AI & Emerging Technology

• Help clients identify and prioritize AI, GenAI, and intelligent automation use cases across risk and compliance functions.
• Support development of AI-enabled solutions for regulatory intelligence, policy management, document review, reporting, and knowledge management.
• Assist in defining business requirements, governance considerations, and adoption strategies for AI-driven initiatives.
• Evaluate opportunities to enhance risk and compliance processes through automation, predictive insights, and advanced analytics.

Stakeholder & Project Management

• Work closely with client stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Technology, Operations, and Business functions.
• Support project governance, status reporting, issue tracking, and executive presentations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Skills & Attributes

To qualify for the role you must have

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 4-6 years of experience in Risk Consulting, Compliance, Business Analysis, Technology Transformation, Banking, Financial Services, or related domains.
• Experience in regulatory, compliance, governance, risk, or transformation initiatives.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
