About this role
- Conduct outpatient consultations and inpatient rounds for paediatric patients.
- Diagnose and manage common and complex paediatric medical conditions.
- Provide comprehensive care for neonatesinfantschildred adolescents as per the hospitals scope of services.
- Assess and manage paediatric emergencies and critically ill children.
- Coordinate with the NICU/PICU and other specialties when required.
- Interpret laboratory investigations imagingand other diagnostic reports.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans appropriately.
- Counsel parents/guardians regarding diagnosistreatment nutrition vaccinatiod preventive healthcare.
- Maintain accurate medical recordsclinical notesdischarge summariesand other documentation.
- Ensure compliance with hospital clinical protocolsinfection-control practicesand patient-safety standards.
- Participate in clinical meetingscase discussionsauditsand quality-improvement initiatives.
- Support teaching and training of residentsinternsand nursing/paramedical staff.
- Promote evidence-based and ethical paediatric practice.
