JD for Cyber Security Engineer (2-3 Years Experience)
Experience: 2-3 Years
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with Data Security solutions, Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration Testing and information protection.
- Strong understanding of Network Security concepts, including TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing, Switching, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and network troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of security technologies such as Checkpoint Firewalls, DDoS Protection, Web Application Firewall (WAF), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Network Detection & Response (NDR), IDS, Web Security, Email Security, and Secure Web Gateway (SWG).
- Experience with Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing solutions, EDR/XDR, Endpoint Protection, Antivirus, Device Control, and Endpoint Detection technologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot cybersecurity incidents and support solution deployment, implementation, configuration, and post-deployment activities.
- Good communication, presentation, documentation, and customer-facing skills.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to SIEM, Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing Tools and Incident Response.
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+ , CCNA, CCNA Security, or equivalent certifications will be an added advantage.
