About this role
Role & responsibilities
Lead requirements workshops with the client's central master data team, data stewards and business
process owners.
Design governance for one or more master data areas (Material, Supplier, Customer, Finance): data standards, mandatory fields, data ownership, duplicate checks and approval workflows.
Write the functional design and obtain formal sign-off from the business.
Configure the standard solution, and guide developers on custom requirements.
Manage requirement changes after sign-off, assessing i
mpact before anything changes.
Prepare test cases and support business users through testing.
Train business users (requesters, data stewards and approvers) and support cutover, go-live and the first
weeks after.
Work directly with clients across regions, including the US and Europe, and act as their trusted point of contact on the workstream.
Mentor junior consultants and contribute to TruCorData's delivery approach.
Preferred candidate profile
Required
5+ years of SAP experience, including hands-on SAP MDG on at least one project that reached go-live.
Depth in at least one master data area: Material (Product), Supplier (Vendor), Customer or Finance.
Experience leading requirements workshops and getting designs signed off by the business.
Hands-on configuration of the standard MDG solution.
Direct, regular work with business users, not only through a lead.
Clear communication: you can explain governance to business people without jargon.
Preferred
Experience on more than one full implementation, from design through go-live and support.
Experience training business users.
A technical background (ABAP, MDG technical) followed by a move into functional or techno-functional work.
This is a strong plus: you will be able to tell the business what is realistic and work closely with developers.
S/4HANA project experience.
Experience with clients in the US or Europe.
Openness to working on a governance product beyond standard SAP MD
G, and to learning new tools quickly.
