About this role
- Perform configuration and support activities for General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Support Fixed Assets and Bank Reconciliation processes.
- Handle AMS support, including issue resolution and minor enhancements.
- Execute data migration and reconciliation activities.
- Assist in integration testing (MM, SD, PP).
- Support GST and e-Invoicing operations, including resolving transaction issues.
- Participate in testing (UT/UAT) and documentation preparation.
- Support month-end and year-end financial activities.
- GL, AP, AR configuration
- Fixed Assets (basic lifecycle understanding)
- Bank Reconciliation (BRS, manual process)
- Cost Center / Profit Center
- Budgeting support activities
- GST (basic configuration / operations)
- e-Invoicing process (transaction level understanding)
- Basic statutory compliance requirements
- Basic ABAP debugging knowledge (breakpoints, basic issue analysis)
- Data migration tools (Migration Cockpit / LSMW)
- Interfaces and reports (basic understanding)
- Fiori apps (Finance-related)
- At least 2 end-to-end implementation OR strong AMS + implementation exposure
- Hands-on experience in configuration (not only support tickets)
- 4-7 years of SAP FICO experience
- Strong hands-on involvement in project delivery
- Ability to work in implementation + AMS environments
- Bachelor's degree is mandatory
- Finance background is preferred
- Exposure to SD / PP integration
- Experience in data migration activities
- Basic understanding of S/4HANA environment
- Strong learning attitude and ownership mindset
- Ability to take responsibility for assigned modules
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness to work in onsite delivery environment (Chennai)
