Consultant - SAP PTP
Roles and responsibilities
- Design, harmonise and integrate business processes within SAP MM/WM and the PTP stream.
- Plan and execute configuration, testing and cutover activities for customer-specific processes and enhancements.
- Support small and large enhancements, projects and initiatives within the PTP stream.
- Support application management activities, including the resolution of SAP tickets and incidents.
- Analyse business issues and data challenges, identify root causes and recommend improvements.
- Train key users and end users.
- Coordinate with consultants across related SAP streams, including FTM, OTC and D2S.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, resolver teams and external partners to ensure the timely resolution of issues and completion of changes.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, operational reporting and escalations.
Expected experience, skill sets and abilities
- A minimum of 6 years experience in SAP PTP, with strong knowledge of Procure-to-Pay processes.
- Advanced SAP PTP knowledge, including PO/PR release strategies, master data and vendor management.
- Strong SAP MM process and configuration knowledge.
- Experience with end-to-end process configuration and integration.
- Knowledge of SAP WM.
- Experience in SAP project implementation and application support.
- Experience with full-cycle SAP implementations.
- Good understanding of related SAP ERP streams such as OTC and D2S.
- Strong customer orientation with the ability to manage client expectations effectively.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Excellent English communication along with presentation, moderation and business-partnering skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work within a highly distributed team environment, multi-task and prioritise tasks.
- A performance-driven mindset, with strong work ethics and integrity.
Ideally, youll also have:
- A Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of ABAP.
- Experience in migration and rollout projects.
- German language skills (not mandatory).
- Experience working with external partners.
- The relevant SAP certification/s.
- The experience of working in a multinational organization and/or a big consultancy.
- Working experience with European clients.
- A willingness to work partly or fully during European office hours (CET).
- A willingness to learn about new technologies when the need arises.
