Consultant Obstetrics & Gynecology

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Gynecologist / Obstetrician to provide comprehensive womens healthcare, including OPD consultations, antenatal and postnatal care, management of high-risk pregnancies, gynecological procedures and surgeries, and obstetric emergencies. The role involves IPD rounds, patient counseling, clinical decision-making, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining high standards of patient safety and care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct OPD consultations and diagnose/manage gynecological and obstetric conditions.
  
• Provide antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care.
  
• Manage high-risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies.
  
• Perform gynecological procedures and surgeries as per expertise.
  
• Conduct IPD rounds and ensure continuity of patient care.
  
• Counsel patients regarding treatment, reproductive health and preventive care.
  
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow hospital protocols.
  

Preferred candidate profile

• MBBS with MD/MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
  
• Valid NMC/State Medical Council registration.
  
• Relevant experience as a Consultant Gynecologist / Obstetrician in a hospital setting.
  
• Strong clinical exposure in OPD consultation, obstetric emergencies, gynecological procedures/surgery, and IPD management.
  
• Excellent clinical judgment, patient communication and counseling skills.
  
• Willingness to work in a full-time hospital-based role.
