Consultant - Industrial Development & Investment Promotion

Job Description:

Multiple Positions in Policy, Regulatory Reforms, Industrial Development & Investment Promotion Domain (Location - Kanpur)

Total Experience: 5 - 12 years

Required Qualification:

The candidate should have a Masters Degree / MBA / PGDM / PGDBM or equivalent qualification.

Required Experience:

The candidate should have minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Policy formulation and implementation

- Industrial Park development / PPP / financial models

- Industrial development and industrial infrastructure planning

- Investment promotion and investment facilitation

- Economic development and sector promotion

- Experience of working with Central/State Government departments, PSUs, industrial development authorities, investment promotion agencies, or government-supported programmes shall be preferred.

Desired Skills and Competencies:

- Strong understanding of government systems, industrial policies, regulatory processes, investment promotion, and scheme implementation.

- Ability to draft clear and actionable policy documents, SOPs, guidelines, reports, and presentations.

- Analytical capability to assess projects, policies, markets, sectors, infrastructure needs, and implementation issues.

- Knowledge of industrial infrastructure, land/zoning requirements, approval processes, and project development frameworks.

- Understanding of investor facilitation, private sector engagement, and economic development initiatives.

- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.

- Good communication, documentation, presentation, and report-writing skills.

- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MIS formats, trackers, and dashboards.
