Consultant - Event Management Operations

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Monitor enterprise infrastructure and application events using SCOM, SolarWinds, and related operational tools.
• Analyze alerts, identify event patterns, validate impact, and coordinate timely incident resolution with technical support teams.
• Manage incident records, escalation workflows, operational communications, and post-incident follow-up in line with production support procedures.
• Support infrastructure operations across enterprise platforms, systems, and connected services while maintaining service availability and operational continuity.
• Identify recurring events and operational gaps, recommend corrective actions, and support improvements to monitoring coverage and event quality.

Skills Required:

• 4 - 8 years of experience in IT operations, event management, infrastructure monitoring, observability, or production support.
• Hands-on experience with SCOM, SolarWinds, event management, incident management, and infrastructure management.
• Understanding of enterprise infrastructure, applications, monitoring platforms, and production support environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot alerts and incidents using structured analytical methods and coordinate resolution across technical teams.
• Experience with operational processes involving incident management, change management, monitoring, and service support.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Netcool or comparable enterprise event management platforms.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
