Consultant - ENT

Role & responsibilities

• Patient Consultation: Conduct thorough medical assessments, examinations, and consultations with patients presenting with ENT issues
• Diagnosis and Treatment: Utilize diagnostic tools and medical knowledge to accurately diagnose and treat conditions related to the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck
• Medical Procedures: Perform medical procedures and surgeries related to ENT, such as tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, sinus surgeries, and ear surgeries
• Prescription and Treatment Plans: Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including prescription medications, therapies, and surgical interventions when necessary
• Patient Education: Educate patients about their medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures, ensuring they are well-informed and involved in their healthcare decisions
• Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, nurses, and specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Medical Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients under your care
• Continuing Education: Stay abreast of the latest medical advancements, research, and treatment modalities in the field of ENT through continuous education and professional development
• Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of healthcare services and patient outcomes
• Emergency Response: Be available for emergency consultations and interventions related to ENT issues, providing timely and effective medical care
