    • Lead troubleshooting and resolution of production issues impacting EDW availability, data access, performance, capacity, or downstream reporting and analytics consumption.
    • Evaluate, pilot, and enable new Microsoft Fabric features and capabilities in partnership with architecture, security, governance, and engineering teams.
    • Define and promote operational standards, platform guardrails, naming conventions, support models, and best practices for Fabric EDW usage.
    • Partner with data engineers and integration teams to ensure new workloads are designed for maintainability, observability, performance, cost awareness, and production supportability.
    • Support data governance, access management, data protection, auditability, and compliance requirements for the Fabric EDW environment.
    • Mentor team members on Fabric operational practices, performance troubleshooting, capacity awareness, and production support expectations.
    • Communicate platform health, risks, incidents, recommendations, and operational priorities clearly to the EDW Director and other stakeholders.
    • Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to the Code of Conduct, Mission, and Value Statement.

    Education Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
    • Relevant experience in database administration, data platform operations, data warehousing, or enterprise data platform support.
    • Experience supporting production SQL Server, cloud data warehouse, analytics, or Microsoft Fabric environments.
    • Experience with operational monitoring, incident management, performance tuning, capacity planning, cost analysis, and production support processes.
    • Experience working with cross-functional teams including data engineering, architecture, analytics, product, security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
    • Healthcare, supply chain, GPO, enterprise analytics, or member-facing data platform experience is preferred.

    Must Have Skills

    • Strong SQL and T-SQL skills, including query analysis, troubleshooting, stored procedures, views, execution plan review, and performance tuning.
    • SQL Server experience, including database administration concepts, workload management, indexing fundamentals, data access patterns, and operational support.
    • Microsoft Fabric experience or strong experience with comparable cloud data warehouse and lakehouse platforms.
    • Experience managing platform uptime, operational readiness, incident response, production support, and service reliability for data platforms.
    • Performance tuning experience across SQL, data warehouse, reporting, semantic, or pipeline workloads.
    • Capacity management experience, including utilization analysis, workload forecasting, scale planning, and performance/capacity tradeoff recommendations.
    • Cost analysis experience for data platforms, including identifying cost drivers, usage patterns, optimization opportunities, and executive-level recommendations.
    • Ability to evaluate and safely enable new platform capabilities, including testing, documentation, guardrails, rollout planning, and stakeholder communication.
    • Strong documentation, troubleshooting, communication, and ownership skills.

    Nice to Have Skills
