About the Role
Ujala Cygnus Sanjeev Bansal Hospital is looking for a dedicated and patient-centric Consultant Cardiologist to join our growing cardiac sciences team. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with cardiovascular diseases while delivering high-quality, evidence-based cardiac care.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiovascular disorders.
- Provide consultation for inpatients, outpatients, emergency, and critical care cases.
- Interpret and report cardiac investigations including ECG, Echocardiography, TMT, Holter Monitoring, and other non-invasive cardiac procedures.
- Manage conditions such as:
- Coronary Artery Disease (CAD)
- Heart Failure
- Hypertension
- Arrhythmias
- Valvular Heart Disease
- Cardiomyopathies
- Preventive Cardiology Cases
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding disease prevention, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality initiatives, and departmental activities.
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records and documentation.
- Adhere to hospital policies, ethical standards, and patient safety protocols.
Requirements
- DM/DNB in Cardiology from a recognized institution.
- Valid NMC/State Medical Council Registration.
- Experience in a multispecialty hospital will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of clinical and preventive cardiology.
- Expertise in cardiac diagnostics and patient management.
- Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
- Ability to manage emergency and critical cardiac cases.
