Job Summary

We are looking for detail-oriented candidates for the position of Bengali Transcription Executive. The selected candidates will be responsible for accurately transcribing Bengali audio and video recordings into written text while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Listen to Bengali audio recordings and watch video content to transcribe spoken words accurately into written text.
• Ensure correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure in the transcribed content.
• Follow project-specific transcription guidelines and quality standards.
• Review and proofread completed transcripts to minimize errors.
• Maintain accuracy and meet assigned productivity targets and project deadlines.
• Handle confidential audio and video content responsibly.

Eligibility Criteria

• Proficiency in reading and writing Bengali is mandatory.
• Good listening and comprehension skills in Bengali.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify spoken words accurately.
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with typing.
• Freshers are welcome to apply.
• Candidates must be comfortable working in morning and evening rotational shifts.

Salary and Employment Terms

• Monthly Stipend/Salary: Up to 12,000.
• Shift Timing: Morning and evening rotational shifts, as per project requirements.
• Employment Type: Contractual.
• Contract Extension: The contract may be extended depending on project requirements and performance.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should have excellent. Bengali language skills, strong listening abilities, good typing accuracy, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality transcription standards.

Office Attendance: The applicant confirms that they will be available to physically attend the office as and when required based on the requirements of the work/project.

Internet Connectivity: The applicant confirms that they have access to a minimum of 100 Mbps of broadband internet connection to perform their assigned work from home.

Tenure and Compensation: The applicant understands and agrees that they have been selected for a 2/3-month contractual employment with a consolidated monthly stipend/pay, as communicated by the Company.

Working Hours and Shifts: The applicant agrees to work in rotational shifts of a minimum of 9 hours each, including break time, as per the Company's work schedule and project requirements.

Working Days and Weekly Off: The applicant understands that the work will involve 6 working days per week, with one weekly day off. No additional/festive holidays will be applicable unless specifically communicated or approved by the Company.

Work Location and IT Assets: The applicant confirms that they will log in and perform work from the same location as mentioned at the time of joining (DOJ). The applicant shall not change the work location or carry/use any company-provided IT asset at any other location during the contract tenure without prior approval from the Reporting Head. 

Leave: No additional leave will ordinarily be granted during the tenure, except in genuine/emergency situations and subject to prior approval from the appropriate authority. The weekly day off will remain as per the Company/project schedule.

Violation and Disciplinary Action: The applicant understands and agrees that any violation or non-compliance with the above-mentioned terms and conditions, Company policies, or project requirements may result in appropriate disciplinary action, including termination of the internship/contractual engagement, as deemed appropriate by the Company.
