Construction Supervisor

• Supervise and monitor day-to-day interior work at project sites.
• Coordinate with contractors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, false-ceiling teams and other vendors.
• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, designs, specifications and timelines.
• Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship at the site.
• Check measurements, dimensions and levels before and during execution.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager/Interior Designer regarding site requirements and progress.
• Manage and allocate labour according to project requirements.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned work and maintain the project schedule.
• Identify site-related issues and coordinate with the concerned team for quick resolution.
• Maintain daily site progress reports and records of materials and labour.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of materials at the site.
• Monitor wastage of materials and ensure efficient utilization.
• Ensure that workers follow safety procedures and site regulations.
• Coordinate with the client during site visits and provide regular progress updates.
• Conduct regular quality checks and ensure rectification of defective or incomplete work.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and cleanliness at the project site.

Job Specification

Education:

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management or a related field preferred.
• Candidates with relevant practical experience may also be considered.

Experience:

• 1–3 years of experience in interior fit-outs, commercial interiors, construction or related projects.
• Experience in office interiors/commercial fit-outs will be an advantage.

Technical Skills:

• Good understanding of interior execution and construction processes.
• Knowledge of false ceiling, flooring, partitions, carpentry, electrical and painting works.
• Ability to read and understand architectural/interior drawings.
• Basic knowledge of measurements and quantity estimation.
• Familiarity with MS Excel and basic reporting.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.

Ideal Candidate

Salary

₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
