About this role
We are hiring a Connector Developer to build and ship high-quality Golang services that connect our platform to customer and partner systems. You will work across cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS), own features end-to-end, and use modern AI tooling, especially Claude, as a real development partner to move faster without sacrificing quality. This role fits end-to-end, like clear ownership, especially with Claude, as well as areas like building reliable integrations in a fast-moving cybersecurity product.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain Golang connector services and related APIs.
- Deploy and operate services in Azure and/or AWS cloud environments.
- Own work from ticket to production: implementation, tests, reviews, and follow-through.
- Use Claude (and similar tools) as a force multiplier for design, coding, debugging, and documentation.
- Collaborate on an Agile team stand-UPS, sprint delivery, and iterative improvement.
- Work with high autonomy in a startup setting: unclear requirements, shifting priorities, and ownership of outcomes.
- Partner with product, security, and platform teammates to ship connectors that are secure, observable, and maintainable.
What Success Looks Like:
- Connectors ship reliably and behave well under real customer conditions.
- Services are idiomatic Go: clear interfaces, solid error handling, and test coverage where it matters.
- Cloud deployments are intentionally configured, and secrets and runtime concerns are handled correctly.
- AI-assisted development measurably increases throughput without creating brittle code.
- You unblock yourself, communicate progress early, and deliver without heavy oversight.
Requirements:
- 1-3 or 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience writing Golang services in Azure and/or AWS.
- Practical experience using Claude as a development partner and productivity multiplier.
- Experience delivering software on an Agile team.
- Comfort operating autonomously in a fast-growing, dynamic startup environment.
- Strong debugging instincts, clear written communication, and ownership mindset.
Nice to Have:
- Cybersecurity or identity domain experience (authn/authz, IAM, SSO, directory systems, security tooling).
- Experience building integrations/connectors against third-party APIs.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, containerized services, observability, and secure coding practices.
- Prior work in SaaS or multi-tenant environments.
