Job Summary:
The Computer Science Teacher is responsible for teaching computer science concepts, programming, and digital skills to students. The teacher will create engaging lessons, assess student progress, encourage problem-solving and computational thinking, and support students in developing practical technology skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons for students.
• Teach programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, or as required by the curriculum.
• Cover topics including programming, algorithms, databases, networking, cybersecurity, operating systems, and computer fundamentals.
• Develop lesson plans, assignments, projects, quizzes, and examinations.
• Assess and monitor students' academic progress.
• Provide additional support to students who need improvement.
• Encourage logical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork.
• Conduct practical laboratory sessions and coding activities.
• Integrate technology and digital tools into classroom teaching.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance.
• Participate in school events, meetings, workshops, and professional-development activities.
• Ensure responsible, safe, and ethical use of technology.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related field.
• Teaching qualification/certification preferred or required according to local regulations.
• Strong knowledge of programming and computer science fundamentals.
• Previous teaching experience is preferred.

• Ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
