The Head Compliance is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing a robust, end-to-end compliance framework to ensure full adherence to SEBI Mutual Fund Regulations, AMFI Guidelines, and applicable statutory obligations.
This role serves as a key safeguard for the integrity and transparency of the AMC’s operations by proactively monitoring regulatory developments, ensuring timely filings, and setting up core compliance processes from scratch. The role holder will act as the principal point of contact for SEBI, AMFI, Trustees, and other regulatory bodies while embedding a compliance-first culture across all functions.

- Continuously review and align internal policies and operational procedures with evolving regulatory frameworks.
2. Monitoring, Audits & Risk Mitigation
- Design and deploy a comprehensive internal compliance monitoring framework, including periodic compliance audits and risk assessments.
- Identify compliance risks and ensure timely mitigation through preventive controls and structured escalation paths.
- Maintain rigorous, audit-ready documentation of all compliance activities, reviews, and recorded deviations.
3. Regulatory Filings & Strategic Communication
- Oversee timely and accurate submission of regulatory filings and disclosures, including SID/SAI, Key Information Memorandums (KIMs), AUM disclosures, compliance certificates, and periodic financials.

4. Product & Communication Vetting
- Review and approve new product proposals, scheme features, marketing collaterals, investor communications, and public advertisements for strict regulatory conformity.
- Ensure all public and investor disclosures are fair, transparent, and compliant with statutory guidelines.
- Partner with Product, Sales, and Digital teams to enable smooth and timely compliance clearances.
5. Compliance Governance & Committee Support
- Serve as Secretary to the Compliance Committee; prepare agendas, maintain minutes, and present periodic compliance updates.
- Deliver structured reports to the Board of Directors, Trustees, and other governance bodies on key compliance metrics, regulatory updates, and material issues.
6. Training, Advisory & Culture
- Conduct regular compliance training programs for employees across functions to promote awareness and risk mitigation.
- Provide proactive advisory support to internal stakeholders on regulatory and compliance-related queries.
- Establish and nurture an organization-wide compliance-first culture.
