Compliance Manager

Job Summary:

Responsible for ensuring the factorys compliance with applicable legal, social, environmental, health & safety, technical and quality requirements, as well as customer/brand standards and certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with Factories Act, labour laws and other applicable statutory requirements.
• Manage social compliance covering HR practices, wages & payroll, working hours, employee welfare, training, health & safety and grievance mechanisms.
• Coordinate and prepare for customer, third-party and certification audits, including self-assessments and corrective action plans.
• Manage social audit requirements such as SEDEX/SMETA, BSCI, SA8000 and other applicable customer standards.
• Monitor environmental compliance, including waste management, chemical management, energy/water use and relevant environmental certifications.
• Coordinate applicable technical/product compliance and certification requirements, such as GOTS, GRS, OCS, RWS and related standards.
• Work closely with QA, Production, HR, EHS and Technical teams to close compliance gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance documentation, records, licenses, certificates and audit reports.
• Conduct regular internal compliance audits and factory inspections and track CAPA closure.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with brand/customer requirements and applicable quality standards.
