Compliance Advisor - Trade/ FEMA

Role & responsibilities:

• Advisory on Retail FEMA transactions Retail Trade Remittances, Current Account remittances (Individuals)/ LRS, Non-Resident Accounts (NRE/NRO/ FCNR (B) and Investments, Trade Credit
• Loans, Card Products
• Liasoning with Regulator (RBI) for the above-said matters.
• Circular Implementation
• Critically review various Product/ Process Notes from Compliance perspective and offer constructive comments.
• Broad understanding of AML, OFAC and International Payments and settlement Process.
• Developing training content and imparting training to stakeholder units
• Understanding of FEMA/Tade regulations
• Product and Process Knowledge in the Domain
• Monitor compliance with trade-related regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
•  Track and evaluate compliance performance through key risk and performance indicators.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Understand customer needs and deliver appropriate solutions and services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
• Identify, assess, and monitor key business risks.
• Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls.
• Ensure timely dissemination of circulars and action points within defined TAT as per the Compliance Operational Manual through CMS tool.

Preferred candidate profile:

Essential: 5+ years post qualification experience in Compliance function

Preferred: 7-8 years experience in compliance in Indian Bank , Certifications such as CDCS, CTFP etc. will be of added advantage
