Company Secretary Intern

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Assist in ensuring compliance with the Companies Act, 2013, and other applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
2. Support preparation and filing of statutory forms and returns with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA).
3. Assist in organising Board Meetings, Committee Meetings including preparation of notices, agendas, and minutes.
4. Maintain statutory registers, corporate records, and documents relating to directors, shareholders, and key managerial personnel.
5. Assist in preparing compliance calendars, tracking statutory deadlines, and updating compliance status reports.
6. Support corporate governance activities, legal research, and preparation of statutory disclosures and declarations.
7. Coordinate with internal departments, auditors, and external consultants for compliance documentation and information.
8. Assist in secretarial audits, annual compliance activities, and closure of audit observations.
9. Prepare, organise, and maintain confidential corporate documents, reports, and correspondence.
10. Perform other secretarial and compliance-related activities as assigned by the Company Secretary or reporting manager.

Eligibility: Students pursuing the Company Secretary (CS) course from ICSI, preferably CS Executive-qualified candidates.

Required Skills: Basic knowledge of corporate laws, MS Office proficiency, documentation skills, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
