Role Description

Key Skills & Responsibilities:

• Strong hands-on experience with Commvault Backup Administration.
• Expertise in CommServe installation, configuration, and management.
• Experience managing and upgrading Media Agents and backup storage infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Commvault Deduplication technologies.
• Experience with backup, recovery, and restore operations across enterprise environments including File-system,SQL, Oracle, Windows, Linux.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity processes.
• Experience with virtual environment backups including Hyper-V.
• Understanding of backup policies, retention management, and storage optimization.
• Experience supporting Windows and Linux server backup environments.
• Knowledge of SAN, NAS, and enterprise storage technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud backup and recovery solutions.
• Experience with backup performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of data protection, compliance, and information security requirements.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with monitoring and reporting tools within Commvault environments.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes including Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
