About this role
The Sr. Associate - Content Writer will be responsible for developing high-quality, engaging, and impactful content aligned with the organisation s objectives, brand voice, and communication priorities. The role will involve researching, writing, editing, and curating content across multiple formats and platforms, supporting content requirements across various projects and initiatives. The role will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to understand content requirements, translate ideas and information into clear and compelling narratives, and ensure consistency, authenticity, and quality across all communication. Research and organize sources and information.
Collaborate and brainstorm with the team for new strategies and ideas.
Write well-researched and keyword-driven content to boost organic traffic.
Create optimized, engaging title tags and meta descriptions to increase click-through rate.
Create clear and innovative headlines and body copy.
Produce high-quality blog posts on industry-relevant topics and address user queries in detail.
Write a wide variety of topics for podcasts, e-books, websites, blogs, social media, case studies, whitepapers, banners, etc.
Create, execute, and maintain a content calendar.
Ensure consistency in writing style, fonts, images, and tone.
Collaborate with designers and developers to align written content with the brand.
Edit and proofread content produced by other team members.

Qualifications, Skills Experience
1. At least 3-5 of work experience in content writing or copywriter
2. Worked as a journalist would be added advantage.
3. Strong experience of working with senior leaders with the ability to generate and communicate unique value propositions. An understanding of customers needs and how to meet those needs. Practices attentive and active listening and can accurately restate the opinions of others even he/ she disagrees.
4. Stellar planning and organizing skills, with good time management skills and the ability to prioritize amidst various sometimes conflicting priorities. Excellent team working skills, with proven contribution to team goals and objectives.
5. Speed, flexibility, and adaptability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
6. Excellent writing and editing skills in English
7. Journalism or PR background is required. Not just social media content writers.
8. Some social sector or associated sector background is preferred
9. Ability to research diverse topics, upskill with the required knowledge about the domain and then write very high quality long-format content
10. Good mature person with an ability to take responsibility and deliver with ownership
11. Open to go out on the field and research, if needed. It would be seldom, but need to have openness.
