Commissioning Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Commissioning Engineer with experience in testing, commissioning, and handing over Fire Protection & Fire Alarm Systems. The candidate must independently handle system testing, documentation, and client demonstrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Testing & commissioning of:
  
• Fire Alarm Systems (Addressable & Conventional)
  
• Hydrant & Sprinkler Systems
  
• Fire Pumps (Electrical, Diesel, Jockey)
  
• Gas Suppression Systems (FM200 / NOVEC / CO)
  
• Loop testing, panel configuration & device programming
  
• Cause & Effect testing
  
• Pump flow & pressure testing
  
• Coordination with consultants & contractors
  
• Conduct system demonstrations & client training
  
• Preparation of commissioning reports & handover documents
  
• Support Fire NOC inspections
  

Compliance Knowledge

Working knowledge of:

• National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)
  
• Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS)
  
• Local Fire Authority norms
  

Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical

Required Skills

• Strong troubleshooting skills
  
• Ability to read drawings & schematics
  
• Experience in cause & effect matrix
  
• Good communication & reporting skills
  
• Willingness to travel
  

Preferred Experience

• High-rise / Commercial / Industrial Projects
  
• Experience handling projects independently
  
• Exposure to BMS integration
