Role Summary: We are hiring a Commis 1 for Mezcalita to support section chefs with food preparation and ensure smooth kitchen operations during service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out food preparation and cooking tasks as instructed by CDP/DCDP
- Maintain mise-en-place for the assigned section
- Follow standard recipes and portioning guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness of workstation and kitchen equipment
- Assist in receiving and storing stock as per hygiene norms
- Support senior chefs during peak service hours
Requirements:
- Certificate/Diploma in Culinary Arts preferred, freshers with relevant training may apply
- Minimum 2 -3 years of experience in a similar role
- Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety
- Willingness to learn and work under supervision
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
