Commercial Manager

1. Collection Management & Cash Flow Tracking

• Prepare and monitor monthly collection targets with week-wise tracking.
• Develop collection due schedules based on Table 2 and Table 3 milestones.
• Track project progress and assess its impact on collection realization.
• Provide regular updates on inflows, collections achieved, and forecasted receipts.
• Coordinate with project, finance, and commercial teams to ensure timely collections.
• Highlight collection risks and initiate corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.

2. Claim Management

• Prepare and maintain a repository of outstanding and unclaimed receivables.
• Analyze unclaimed amounts and identify root causes for delays.
• Circulate claim status reports to relevant stakeholders on a periodic basis.
• Coordinate with project, finance, and customer-facing teams for claim closure and recovery.
• Ensure timely documentation and tracking of claims till resolution.

3. Support Financial Closure Activities

• Support quarterly financial closure processes and reporting requirements.
• Prepare provisions for Liquidated Damages (LDs), penalties, and other commercial liabilities.
• Coordinate with Finance, Project, and Commercial teams for validation of provisions.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of commercial data submitted for financial closing.

4. Monthly BRC (Business Review Committee) Support

• Monitor and report sticky debtors and overdue receivables.
• Prepare debtor aging analysis and collection status reports.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for resolution of long-pending dues.
• Prepare and consolidate reports related to:
• Bank Guarantees (BGs)
• Corporate Guarantees (CGs)
• Surety Bonds
• Other financial securities and commercial commitments
• Ensure timely submission of monthly review reports for management discussions.

5. Digitization & Process Improvement

• Actively participate in digitization initiatives within Commercial functions.
• Support automation of collection tracking, claim management, and reporting processes.
• Drive adoption of digital tools, dashboards, and MIS systems.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and data standardization.
• Contribute to enhancing transparency, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
