Commercial Manager

To manage Procurement, Supply Chain, Vendor Management and Costing activities while ensuring optimum cost, timely material availability and effective commercial control.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of materials, spares, consumables and services.
• Develop vendors, float RFQs, evaluate quotations and conduct commercial negotiations.
• Ensure timely procurement and supply of critical materials as per operational requirements.
• Monitor inventory, lead time, pending POs and delivery schedules.
• Prepare costing, rate analysis, comparative statements and cost estimates.
• Drive cost reduction, procurement savings and value engineering initiatives.
• Manage vendor performance, contracts, commercial terms and disputes.
• Coordinate with Operations, Stores, Finance and other functions for smooth supply chain.
• Prepare procurement, costing, savings and supply chain MIS.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, SOPs and internal controls.

Qualification & Experience

Graduate / MBA / Engineering preferred with 10+ years of relevant experience in Commercial, Procurement, Supply Chain or Costing, preferably in Engineering / Manufacturing / O&M industry.
