About the Role

We are looking for an Export Commercial Executive to manage day-to-day export commercial activities and ensure smooth execution of export shipments. The role will involve coordination with internal teams, freight forwarders and other external stakeholders, along with accurate and timely handling of export documentation and shipment-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day export commercial activities and ensure timely and accurate execution of shipments.
• Handle pre-shipment and post-shipment documentation and order processing.
• Prepare, review and maintain export/shipping documentation as required.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and internal/external stakeholders for smooth shipment execution.
• Prepare, review and confirm Bill of Lading (B/L) drafts.
• Ensure proper understanding and application of Incoterms.
• Handle documentation/processes related to EPCG and Duty Drawback (DBK) shipments.
• Coordinate and support factory stuffing and port-related export activities.
• Maintain shipment records, tracking reports and MIS documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable processes and documentation requirements.
• Respond to ad-hoc commercial and shipment-related requirements from the reporting manager.

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

• Working knowledge of Import & Export processes and documentation.
• Knowledge of Incoterms.
• Understanding of Shipping Documentation and export shipment processes.
• Knowledge of Bill of Lading (B/L) documentation.
• Exposure to Freight Forwarder coordination.
• Knowledge of EPCG and Duty Drawback (DBK) will be preferred.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
• Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage.
• Good email drafting and communication skills.
• Logical and analytical approach to work.

Education & Experience

• Minimum Graduate in any discipline.
• Diploma/qualification in Import-Export will be an added advantage.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in Export/Import Commercial, Export Documentation or related operations.
• Candidates with hands-on experience in export documentation and shipment coordination will be preferred.

Work Environment

• Primarily office-based.
• Travel may be required on a need basis for shipment/port-related activities.
