Commerce DevOps Engineer

The ideal candidate we are looking for will have 5+ years of experience in DevOps, with a strong background in HCL Commerce platforms and hands-on expertise in managing complex deployment, infrastructure, CI/CD, and release management activities.

Role & responsibilities

• Manage and support HCL Commerce platform deployments across multiple environments.
• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using cloud-native technologies.
• Administer and optimize cloud infrastructure, with a preference for Microsoft Azure.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes/OpenShift and Docker.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure platform reliability and scalability.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to support release and operational activities.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
• Proven experience working in HCL Commerce environments.
• Strong expertise in:
• Commerce platform deployment and environment management (v9 preferred)
• CI/CD pipeline design and optimization using cloud-native mechanisms
• Microsoft Azure (preferred)
• Kubernetes/OpenShift and Docker
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, or similar)
• Automation and scripting
• Performance tuning and production troubleshooting
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
