Colliery Engineer Electrical

Role & responsibilities

Power Distribution & Infrastructure: Plan, install, and maintain high-, medium-, and low-voltage sub-stations, transmission lines, switchgear, and transformers across the mine site.

Statutory Compliance & Audits: Conduct regular electrical safety audits, ensure adherence to mining laws (such as DGMSDirectorate General of Mine Safety standards in India or equivalent regional authorities), and obtain required statutory approvals for installations.

Maintenance & Dewatering Operations: Oversee the installation and continuous running of heavy-duty dewatering pumps, pipelines, ventilation fans, and Haulage/HEMM (Heavy Earth Moving Machinery) electrical systems.

Safety Management Systems (SMS): Develop, supervise, and review electrical engineering control plans, hazard management plans, and emergency response procedures

Preferred candidate profile :

B Tech Electrical/ EEC, with minimum 5 yrs Experience, Supervisory License with mining and a excellent team player
