Collections Manager - Bucket X Field Collection

About the Role

The Credit Card Collections Executive is responsible for managing overdue credit card accounts, ensuring timely recovery, coordinating with customers, and maintaining accurate records. The role requires strong communication skills, negotiation ability, and compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Handle credit card delinquent accounts and follow up with customers for payment.

Make outbound calls to customers regarding overdue dues and negotiate payment plans.

Educate customers about payment schedules, charges, and settlement options.

Maintain daily collection logs and update system records accurately.

Coordinate with field collections teams when required.

Ensure all interactions comply with regulatory and internal compliance guidelines.

Achieve monthly and quarterly collection targets.

Resolve customer queries related to outstanding payments or statements.

Identify skip/trace cases and escalate appropriately.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in any field (preferred).

Minimum 0–3 years of experience in collections, preferably credit card or retail lending.

Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.

Basic understanding of credit card billing, delinquency buckets, and recovery processes.

Ability to handle customer objections professionally.

Familiarity with collection tools and CRM systems is an advantage.
