Collection Specialist

We are currently hiring for Associate Collection Specialist and Team to join our growing team at Sutherland.


Location: Hyderabad

Work Mode: Work From Office (WFO)

Shift: Night Shift

Experience: 6 Months - 4 Years

Joining Preference: Immediate Joiners / Candidates with 15 Days or Less Notice Period

Job Summary

We are looking for a Collections Specialist to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should have experience in collections, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a night-shift environment.

Candidates who are currently outside Hyderabad but are willing to relocate to Hyderabad are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle customer accounts and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Contact customers through calls and other communication channels to collect pending dues.
• Understand customer concerns and provide appropriate resolutions while ensuring timely collections.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, commitments, and payment status.
• Meet individual and team collection targets.
• Follow company policies, collection procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Escalate complex or unresolved customer issues to the appropriate team.
• Build professional relationships with customers while maintaining a positive customer experience.
• Prepare and maintain necessary reports related to collections and follow-ups.

Requirements

• 6 months to 4 years of experience in collections, telecalling, customer service, or a related role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a night shift and from the office.
• Good negotiation and customer-handling skills.
• Target-oriented and self-motivated.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to work with MS Office/tools.
• Candidates willing to relocate to Hyderabad can apply.

Preferred Candidates

• Immediate joiners preferred.
• Candidates with a notice period of 15 days or less preferred.
• Candidates with prior experience in collections / international collections / BPO / customer service will be an advantage.
