Collection Officer 0-90 Bucket (Tractor Loan) at L&T Finance

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct field visits to customer locations for collections and follow-ups.
• Negotiate with customers for repayment plans / settlements as per company policy.
• Ensure maximum recovery and reduce delinquency levels in the assigned portfolio.
• Maintain proper documentation and proof of collection visits.
• Update collection status regularly in system / mobile app.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Legal, Credit, Operations) for complex cases.
• Identify and escalate skip cases / fraud / high-risk accounts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain professional behavior and avoid any misconduct during recovery activities.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate (preferred)
• Minimum 1 years experience in field collections / recovery
• Experience in NBFC / Banking / Microfinance preferred
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Willingness to travel in field
