Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Collection Manager to oversee our collections department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collections and credit management, with a proven track record of developing effective strategies to recover outstanding debts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies to minimize outstanding debt.
- Manage the collections team, ensuring high performance and adherence to company policies.
- Analyze delinquent accounts and develop plans for collection efforts.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer disputes and inquiries regarding billing and collections.
- Monitor and report on collection metrics and KPIs to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to debt collection.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 4-8 years of experience in collections or credit management, preferably in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of collection laws and practices in India.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using collection software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to analyze financial data and develop actionable strategies.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
