Collection Executive- Loan Collections

Key Responsibilities

• Contact customers via phone, email or in person to collect overdue payments.
• Follow up on outstanding invoices and negotiate payment plans when required.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment status.
• Monitor aging reports and prioritise high-risk accounts.
• Resolve customer queries related to billing and payment discrepancies.
• Coordinate with internal teams Sales, Finance and Legal for dispute resolution.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable collection laws.
• Achieve monthly collection targets and reduce delinquency ratios.
• Escalate non-responsive or high-risk accounts as per the escalation matrix.

Preferred

• Prior experience in collections or recovery at an NBFC, bank, fintech or collection agency.
• Exposure to digital lending, personal loans, short-term credit or salary advance products.
• Familiarity with delinquency buckets, DPD stages, roll rates and recovery metrics.
• Awareness of RBI Digital Lending Guidelines, the Fair Practices Code and recovery agent conduct norms.
