Environment Overview

• This is an enterprise platform support team supporting developer-facing engineering tools across the organization rather than a single application.
• Engineers should possess strong troubleshooting skills and be able to effectively support developer communities.

Responsibilities by Level

L1 Engineers - 3 to 4 years

• Frontline support
• ServiceNow incident handling
• Teams request support
• Operational ticket processing and tool support

L2 Engineers - 7 to 8 years

• Advanced troubleshooting
• Support and guidance for L1 engineers
• Monitoring, alert management, automation identification, and operational improvements

L3 Engineers - 9+ years

• Deep technical expertise
• Strong SRE capabilities
• Complex issue resolution and technical leadership

Incident and War Room Support

• TCC will continue monitoring and alert detection activities.
• The new team will participate in war rooms when paged.
• L2 and L3 engineers will actively support incident response activities.
• Responsibilities include troubleshooting, escalation management, RCA participation, and problem management.

Cloud Expectations

• Azure is the preferred cloud platform since most applications are hosted there.
• AWS and GCP experience are beneficial but secondary.
• Overall emphasis is on strong DevOps fundamentals rather than cloud-provider-specific expertise.
