COE Lead - SAP Finance

Job Description:

The SAP Finance - COE Lead is responsible for establishing, governing, and continuously enhancing the SAP Center of Excellence (COE) for the Finance, Costing, Budgeting, Consolidation, and Reporting domains. This role provides global ownership of finance processes, template governance, solution quality, and value realization across SAP S/4HANA and integrated application landscapes. Acting as a strategic bridge between Finance leadership, business stakeholders, and IT teams, the position drives process standardization, digital transformation, operational excellence, and business value delivery through a COE-led operating model.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the SAP Finance COE and act as the design authority for finance-related solutions.

- Own global templates, solution standards, release governance, and roadmap execution.

- Drive fit-to-standard SAP adoption while managing regulatory and localization requirements.

- Ensure end-to-end integration across Finance and related business functions.

- Govern enhancements, upgrades, rollouts, migrations, and S/4HANA transformation programs.

- Drive process optimization through automation, analytics, AI, and Fiori adoption.

- Ensure compliance with audit, risk, security, GRC, and SoD requirements.

- Manage strategic partners and build internal SAP capabilities.

Job Requirements:

- 8-10 years of experience in Finance and SAP environments, with strong expertise in SAP FI/CO and SAP S/4HANA.

- Proven experience leading SAP Finance implementations, support, transformations, COEs, global template programs, or similar governance functions.

- Deep knowledge of Financial Accounting, Controlling, Budgeting, Planning, Consolidation, Group Reporting, Compliance, and Finance operating models.

- Strong understanding of solution governance, process standardization, enterprise performance management, and business process optimization.

- Experience delivering large-scale SAP rollouts, upgrades, migrations, and enterprise transformation initiatives across complex, multi-entity and multi-country organizations.

- Hands-on experience across SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA landscapes.

- Strong stakeholder management, communication, influencing, analytical, and decision-making skills, with the ability to engage senior leaders, auditors, and implementation partners.

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.

- SAP FI/CO and/or SAP S/4HANA Finance certification is preferred.
