About this role
Role & responsibilities
- Conduct coding and competitive programming classes for students.
- Train students in programming fundamentals, problem-solving and algorithmic thinking.
- Teach Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA).
- Prepare coding problems, assignments, assessments and practice sessions.
- Guide students in solving competitive programming problems.
- Help students participate in coding contests and hackathons.
- Analyse student performance and provide individual feedback.
- Conduct regular coding assessments and mock contests.
- Mentor students to improve their coding skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Stay updated with current programming languages, tools and competitive programming trends.
- Collaborate with the academic team to develop coding-related curriculum and training programs.
Preferred candidate profile
- M.Tech / M.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related technical discipline.
- Strong knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms.
- Excellent programming and problem-solving skills.
- Strong command of one or more programming languages such as C++, Java or Python.
- Experience with competitive programming platforms such as CodeChef, Codeforces, LeetCode or HackerRank.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
