CNC Programmer

Job Overview


Key Responsibilities

• Program and operate 3-Axis and 5-Axis CNC machines using Mastercam, Alphacam, SolidWorks, or similar software.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications from customers, architects, and designers.
• Collaborate closely with sales personnel, templates, and other programmers to ensure project accuracy.
• Manage personal workflow and handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Identify programming or production issues and propose effective solutions.
• Utilize job management software to track and manage assigned work.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, precision, and attention to detail in all programming tasks.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Hands-on experience with Mastercam, Alphacam, SolidWorks, or similar CAD/CAM software.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience interpreting specification sheets from architects and designers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and precision.
• Ability to consistently meet deadlines without compromising quality.

Preferred Attributes

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor s Degree preferred.
• Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints is highly recommended.
• 2-5 years of experience in the Construction or Stone industry.
• Experience in the countertop, stone, or sheet metal fabrication industry.
• Familiarity with job management software.
